With you on his side, our CEO David will be focused on: vision, strategy, organic content, strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of our products. The external side of Paradox.

Your role?

  • The operator behind the founder. The force that turns ideas into execution.
  • You make sure the machine runs, scales, and stays aligned — without needing him in every room.
  • You'll harmoniously integrate all key functions
  • You are the glue that holds the people, processes, systems, priorities, and strategy together.

This is a full-time position from our beautiful offices in Dubai, Paris or Lisbon or in remote anywhere in the world.

Important: Being present at least 2.5 months in Dubai per year is required.

YOUR MISSION

David Laroche (CEO) has built a personal brand followed by 2+ million, interviewed icons (Tony Parker, Mike Horn, Branson, Gad Elmaleh), and sparked transformation for thousands.

Paradox was born with the intent to build something beyond himself, and that can live throughout centuries.

The vision is to make Paradox an iconic Brand, and a symbol of Greatness and independent thinking.

For us, being Iconic is to innovate at the intersection of Psychology x Creativity x Technology.

We want to compete with companies like Mindvalley (150M ARR) that deliver woo-woo Personal Development.

We position Paradox for high achievers with grounded, science-backed mental models, AI-powered and a bolder brand. A strong positioning claiming our disdain for mediocrity.

Going from a successful personal brand to an international tech-driven iconic brand is far from easy. It will be messy, chaotic, and requires iterating on MVPs, innovating in tech, shaking social media with outstanding creative work while having a limited budget (we're bootstrapped).

So your main mission is to challenge ideas, filter the best ones, craft strategies, build a team of talents, and create an execution machine.

Our sources of inspiration are Apple, Nike, Spotify, Disney for their obsession with excelling, having a worldwide impact, and not just selling products but crafting experiences.

You will play a pivotal role in making Paradox play at that level and becoming an iconic brand.

Your 6 main missions

  • Drive Execution & Focus: exceeding planned P&L targets
  • Lead Yearly / Quarterly / Monthly planning and OKRs
  • Turning vision into OKRs, roadmaps, systems
  • Integrate all major functions of the company
  • Play devil's advocate with the CEO and determine when to stay focused
  • Create a culture of performance, a tempo of urgency, execution & continuous improvement
  • Set a high tempo and hold people accountable
  • Build dashboards, metrics, rituals
  • Address underperformance quickly and decisively
  • SCALE: Make the company Scalable and turn it into a growth machine (obsession with AI possibilities)
  • Design and improve systems, workflows, tech stack
  • Lead automation, tooling, and AI agent deployment
  • Solve root problems that slow down execution
  • Talent Density: Personally source, recruit, and onboard A-Players
  • Raise the hiring bar across the company
  • Track company-wide sourcing KPIs
  • Make Paradox cost-efficient
  • Forecast requirements and prepare annual budget
  • Cut waste, challenge spending, increase margin
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing
  • Dig into the Data, find patterns, and make changes happen from them
  • Dig into product, marketing, sales, and ops data
  • Find patterns and turn them into actions

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience:

  • 3 years in Tier-1 consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.) + 2–3 years in a start-up
  • Or former founder (even failed) who built team + ops + product + sales — and learned fast
  • Or high-performing Chief of Staff in a tier-1 growing startup

Traits: Must have:

  • Driven & Hard worker: You get things done, you love to work beyond 9-5, you have a doer mentality, a bias for outcomes, and want to be a beast in your field
  • Strategic thinking, analytical, and system thinker: able to quickly identify and formulate problems, facilitate decision-making, simplify complex and chaotic issues into efficient solutions and systems quickly
  • Great at planning and execution: great at taking ideas and effectively initiating plans to make them a reality.
  • Comfort in conflict: you know when to disagree hard, and when to commit fast.
  • Growth over Ego: you are really at ease with receiving regular hard feedback, you love to learn, read, study, and you’re able to put your ego aside
  • Digital & AI savvy: you’re able to build AI Agents (if not, demonstrate you are able to learn while applying)
  • Inspired by the field of Edtech, coaching, personal development, or training

Nice to have:

  • Influence without authority: Catalyst for team cohesion and effective conflict management, you make others want to follow you

French: native

English: Fluent English, you can hold a conversation on specific details with English-speaking colleagues.
