Generative Bionics, based in Genova, Italy, seeks a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO on strategic priorities. The role spans strategy, operations, fundraising, and execution, with daily use of AI tools to accelerate insights and decisions.

You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, prepare executive materials, and drive effective organizational execution in a fast-growing deep-tech environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in strategy consulting, investment banking, PE, VC, or corporate strategy.
• Proficient in modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) as part of daily workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to structure ambiguous challenges.
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations for boards or leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO on the company’s most strategic priorities. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, fundraising, and execution, providing direct exposure to company-building decisions during a critical phase of growth. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with exceptional execution skills and is comfortable leveraging modern AI tools as a core part of their daily workflow. You will support strategic initiatives, evaluate new business opportunities, coordinate cross-functional activities, and help maximize the effectiveness of the CEO and leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the CEO to prepare board presentations, investor updates, fundraising materials, and other strategic communications;
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and business opportunity assessments using both traditional methodologies and AI-powered research tools;
• Support strategic planning, business development, and corporate growth initiatives;
• Drive alignment and coordination across Hardware, AI/Software, and Commercial teams to ensure effective execution of company priorities;
• Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives that require executive sponsorship and coordination;
• Design, improve, and scale internal processes, workflows, and operating mechanisms to enhance organizational effectiveness;
• Leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate research, analysis, communication, and decision‑making processes;
• Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO, helping prioritize initiatives and manage key stakeholders;

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field;
• 3-5+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Corporate Strategy, or similarly rigorous analytical environments;
• Demonstrated proficiency in using modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or equivalent platforms as part of daily professional workflows;
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges and develop actionable recommendations;
• Experience preparing executive‑level presentations and materials for boards, investors, or senior leadership teams;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across technical and non‑technical functions;
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment;
• Genuine passion for deep‑tech, robotics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies;
• Availability to work full‑time on‑site in Genoa, Italy;
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally is expected;
• Experience working in high‑growth startups, scale‑ups, or technology-driven companies;
• Exposure to fundraising activities, investor relations, or corporate development initiatives;
• Experience supporting C‑level executives in strategic or operational roles;
• Knowledge of robotics, Physical AI, autonomous systems, or advanced manufacturing technologies;
