A dynamic global manufacturing business seeks a Chief Accountant to manage local accounting processes in Italy. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, significant AP/AR experience, and proficiency in SAP and Excel, along with strong communication skills in both Italian and English.

The main duties of the Chief Accountant are:

• Overseeing and managing the General Ledger (GL) accounting
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) postings
• Prepare management reports and consolidate financial statements
• Work on process improvement projects in accounting and company integration activity

The skills required for the Chief Accountant are:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

• 5 years of experience in Accounting, AP, and AR
• Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP experience
• Fluency in Italian and English is essential for the role
• Based in Milan, happy commuting to their office outside of central Milan
