Skuba Italia Srl is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our team in Bussolengo. In this role, you will be a strategic financial partner, responsible for managing accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced finance professional eager to actively contribute to the growth of a dynamic international company.

Role Responsibilities:

• Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records using accounting software.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Ensure accounting tasks comply with Italian regulations and SKUBA’s principles.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Generate financial statements and provide insights on trends and variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monitor budget adherence.
• Manage and forecast cash flow; implement cash management policies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and prepare tax documents.
• Support external audits by coordinating and preparing necessary documentation.
• The Chief Accountant will be the sole accounting professional in the company and will not be responsible for managing other staff.

What We're Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience as a Financial Manager or Bookkeeper, preferably in a mid-sized company.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and good time management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills — English communication skills at a conversational level are required.
