About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Seta Restaurant, the Chef de Rang is responsible for assisting the Restaurant team to provide impeccable service at all times to guests. The Chef de Rang reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Chef de Rang, your duties will include:

1. Providing professional advice and care to our guests
2. Serving food and drinks professionally
3. Ensuring smooth work processes at your station, in compliance with our quality standards
4. Providing the required mise en place
5. Supporting the restaurant management in daily tasks
6. Assisting with the preparation and implementation of special events
7. Maintaining hygiene regulations and cleanliness according to HACCP guidelines

We expect from you as Chef de Rang:

• Good level of English and Italian (spoken, read, and written)
• Previous experience in a food & beverage environment, ideally in a high-end, luxury establishment
• Guest-focused attitude, excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail
