The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B.
This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week). It offers an opportunity to work in a place of exceptional art and elegance, where history and culture meet Venetian style. The Gritti is known for impassioned service, a delectable culinary experience, and an intimate wellness haven, serving as a reference point for the world's elite at events like the Biennale, Carnival, and the Venice Film Festival.
You will share your menu knowledge, warmly greet guests, and ensure a memorable dining experience through friendly service, attention to detail, and professionalism.
This role requires physical ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance. Prior safety training and certification are required before employment.
