The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B.
This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week). It offers an opportunity to work in a place of exceptional art and elegance, where history and culture meet Venetian style. The Gritti is renowned for impassioned service, culinary excellence, and an intimate wellness environment. It is a reference point for the world's elite during international events such as the Biennale, Carnival, and the Venice Film Festival.
You will share your menu expertise with guests, providing warm greetings, flawless table settings, and friendly service to ensure memorable dining experiences.
This role involves physical activity such as moving and lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and maintaining a professional appearance in a clean uniform. Safety training and certification are required prior to employment.
