The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is recruiting for a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals passionate about F&B. This is a seasonal, full-time role (40 hours/week).
This position offers an opportunity to work in an environment of art, elegance, history, and culture, with Venetian style. The Gritti is renowned for service, culinary excellence, and being a hub for international events like the Biennale, Carnival, and Venice Film Festival.
You will share your menu expertise with guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience through warm greetings, flawless service, and friendly demeanor.
This role involves physical activities such as moving and lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and maintaining a professional appearance. Safety training and certification are required prior to employment.
