The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B.
This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week). It offers an opportunity to work in a place of exceptional art and elegance, where history and culture meet Venetian style. The Gritti is known for impassioned service, a delectable culinary experience, and an intimate wellness haven. It is a reference point for the world's elite at events such as the Biennale, Carnival, and the Venice Film Festival.
You will share your menu knowledge, greet guests warmly, and ensure a memorable dining experience through attentive service and friendly demeanor, contributing to guests' long-lasting positive memories.
This role requires physical ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance in a clean uniform. Safety training and certification will be required prior to employment.
