The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B.
This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week). It offers an opportunity to work in a place of exceptional art and elegance, where history and culture meet Venetian style. The Gritti is known for impassioned service, culinary excellence, and an intimate wellness environment, serving as a reference point for international city events such as the Biennale, Carnival, and the Venice Film Festival.
You will share your menu expertise with guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience through warm greetings, flawless table settings, and friendly service. Your goal is to provide each guest with a memorable experience that encourages repeat visits.
This role requires physical ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance in uniform. Safety training and certification are required prior to employment.
