The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B.
This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week). It offers an opportunity to work in a place of exceptional art and elegance, where history and culture meet Venetian style. The Gritti Palace is known for impassioned service, culinary excellence, and an intimate wellness environment, serving as a reference for the world's elite during events like the Biennale, Carnival, and Venice Film Festival.
You will share your menu expertise with guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience through warm greetings, flawless table settings, and friendly service. Your goal is to make each guest's visit unforgettable.
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance in a clean uniform. Safety training and certification are required prior to employment.
