Job summary

Jumeirah Capri Palace is hiring for a Chef de Partie in Anacapri for the Summer 2027 season. The ideal candidate will actively manage the section, delegate tasks to junior staff, and maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation across the kitchen.

Responsibilities include supporting senior chefs, developing seasonal menus, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining meticulous kitchen records during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Expert culinary knowledge of classical and international trends.
• Proficient in Italian and fluent in English; a third language is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Actively manages all aspects of the section and delegates tasks to junior kitchen staff.
• Manages service during busy periods and in the absence of senior chefs, ensuring standards.
• Assists senior chefs in developing new menu ideas to keep menus seasonal and creative.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety and Environment procedures and controls.
• Supervises and checks every dish sent from the section to maintain highest quality.
• In-charge of refrigeration, cleaning, stock rotation, date coding and deep cleaning of the section.
• In the absence of a senior chef, maintains daily kitchen records and labeling standards.

Theidealcandidateforthispositionwillhavethefollowingexperienceandqualifications:
