A leading company is seeking a Legal Counsel Channel to join their Global Legal Team in Italy. The successful candidate will provide legal support for commercial transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Ideal candidates will possess a Master of Laws, fluency in English, and have extensive experience in commercial law, especially within high-tech or renewable sectors. This position offers the opportunity to work in a diverse environment committed to sustainability.

Competenze

  • At least four years’ relevant PQE in commercial law, focused on indirect/channel business.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in working within digital environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of work independently.

We are recruiting a Legal Counsel Channel to join our Global Legal Team and be responsible for providing legal and compliance support to our Italy operations.

How you will contribute :

You will be responsible for delivery of legal, regulatory and compliance services. You will operate as a key business partner to provide strategic support and advice, working on a wide range of commercial and compliance matters with a focus on our Channel (indirect) Business. Your checklist would include :

  • Preparing and reviewing contracts and terms and conditions, supporting negotiations
  • Preparing templates
  • Providing claims support and overseeing litigations
  • Helping to ensure compliance with applicable laws and Group policies
  • Providing training and facilitating our compliance programs
  • Monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements
  • Other local legal support as reasonably required by Legal Management.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with working in a digital environment, feels strongly about social justice and sustainability. Someone who wants to work in an international company and has a proven track record operating in an inhouse environment. Our future colleague must be able to work proactively and closely with the business stakeholders, to identify and analyse critical business issues, and to apply legal expertise to deliver solutions.

You should have excellent legal and communication skills and be :

A qualified lawyer with a Master of Laws degree or equivalent and at least four years' relevant PQE in commercial law (with a focus on indirect / channel / reseller business), preferably in a Hi-tech, Oil & Energy, Construction or Renewables & Environment sector.Fluent in English with great technological skillsConfident with fantastic interpersonal skills, commercially minded, highly organized and able to work effectively in teamsAble to work independently and manage large volumes of work
