Job summary

Vertiv Co in the Veneto region of Italy seeks a Change Analyst graduate with up to 2 years of experience to join our R&D team in Tognana, Piove di Sacco. You will design and modify drawings and BOMs, and analyze cost and performance data to support EMEA projects.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, proficiency in CAD CREO/Solid Edge/Pro Engineer, and the ability to read technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Designer.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD CREO, Solid Edge or Pro Engineer.
• Ability to read technical documentation.
• Knowledge of CAD Vaults.
• Knowledge of product database management systems (Oracle PD + Oracle EBS)
• English – Good level – Written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify drawings and BOMs according to the global documentation system.
• Collecting, analyzing and interpreting cost and performance data.
• Leads EMEA projects.
• Creates and/or corrects BOM structures in ERP; configurator and configuration rules.
• Checks information completeness and document structure; ensures text clarity and grammar.
• Coordinates corrective change requests and communicates with submitters and approvers.
• Adheres to lean manufacturing principles and 5S; follows ITC trade rules.

What will you do in our team?

• Design and modifies drawings and BOMs according to the global documentation system;
• Collecting, analyzing and interpreting cost and performance data;
• Leads EMEA projects;
• Participates in the design of unit mechanical parts and assembly drawings: improving, updating and revising mechanical drawings as required, participating in the electrical design of HPAC units;
• Creates and/or corrects BOM structures in ERP;
• Creates and/or corrects configurator and configuration rules;
• Checking the completeness of the requested information and the required annexes;
• Checking the correct structure of the document and its parts;
• Checking the correctness of the text in terms of its clarity, completeness and correct grammar;
• Checking and monitoring priority changes and modifications efficiently and in atimely manner;
• Communication with submitters and approvers on rejections, ambiguities, questions and corrections to engineering documentation;
• Coordinating and tracking corrective change requests;
• Issuing correct and approved documentation in atimely manner;
• Entering and completing simple CR requirements;
• Working on technical research and/or other technical tasks;
• Performs all other activities related to the agreed type of work as directed by the immediate supervisor;
• Adheres to the procedures, rules and principles of the integrated management system;
• Works in accordance with lean manufacturing principles and the 5 S‘s;
• Operates in accordance with ITC international trade rules;
• Contributes to the development and adherence to standards, focusing on the key areas of customer, company culture and continuous improvement system;
• As part of the continuous improvement system, makes improvement suggestions in line with company objectives;
• Respects the principles of environmental protection.

What will make you successful?

The anticipated salary range for this role in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy is between 42.000€ to 52.000€ gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.

The applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for this role is Metalmeccanico Industria.
