Job Opportunity: CFO

Claire Joster, a multinational company specializing in Head Hunting, is seeking a CFO for a leading company in the environmental sector, focusing on storage, intermediation, and transportation of industrial waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the CEO and participate in defining the company's economic and financial policies.
  • Coordinate the Administration, Finance, and Control area, currently composed of 3-4 staff members, overseeing accounting, financial management, and reporting.
  • Support economic planning, implement control tools, and strengthen internal organization through role, process, and management tool definitions.
  • Ensure the reliability of economic-financial data and communicate it to control bodies.
  • Collaborate on integrating any extraordinary operations and contribute to the company's internal structuring process.

Key Duties:

  • Coordinate and supervise all accounting, tax, and civil law aspects.
  • Oversee the preparation of the annual civil balance sheet in collaboration with external accountants; support group perimeter definition and reporting in case of expansion.
  • Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for the Board and stakeholders.
  • Implement and develop a management control system: analyze margins per client, project, or business line, fixed/variable costs, deviations.
  • Build structured and timely management reporting to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage corporate treasury: financial needs planning, cash flow, liquidity management, monitoring credit lines, and relations with banks and financial institutions.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risks with preventive measures and internal control tools.
  • Support the preparation of documentation for supervisory bodies, audits, and compliance (231).
  • Coordinate legal-corporate aspects with external consultants.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on corporate strategies and sustainability plans.
  • Assist the CEO in economic-financial planning and growth process structuring.
  • Activate and oversee ESG systems and non-financial reporting (environmental/social reports).
  • Progressively oversee HR aspects in coordination with management.
