Introduction

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer, on a fixed-term contract, to cover maternity leave. The CFO will be responsible for managing, organising, and coordinating the company's administrative, accounting, and financial services. This is a crucial and complex role, as an organisation's survival depends on actively managing its finances.

A CFO must be an expert in all aspects of financial management, from basic accounting to complex banking and investment operations. The ideal candidate should be an excellent leader.

What You Will Do

• Lead the company's financial planning
• Ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions in accordance with regulations
• Maintain adequate cash flow for operations
• Monitor and evaluate financial and administrative management, proposing improvements
• Manage human resources in the administrative office and collaborate across departments
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, tax, and legal advisors
• Prepare reliable reports on trends and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies

What You Should Bring To The Table

• Proven experience as a CFO or financial manager
• Deep knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
• Strong skills in data analysis and forecasting
• Problem-solving abilities and effective solutions
• Leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and make strategic decisions
• Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Degree in economics or law; a master's degree/MBA is advantageous
