Assured and Associates is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.

The CNA will provide nursing care to patients and assist with daily activities such as bathing, eating, and toileting.

The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, punctual, and enjoys helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care by instilling confidence and trust in a competent and caring manner.
• Assist with hygiene and daily living activities, including toileting, bathing, and shower assistance.
• Support patients with meals as needed.
• Assist with ambulation, turning, and positioning patients.
• Monitor medical needs by checking vital signs and weight.
• Perform urine testing and specimen collection.
• Administer non-sterile dressings, surgical preparations, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz baths, and therapeutic baths.

Professional Development:

• Maintain any specialized training and perform additional tasks relevant to the assigned patient or area.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospital experience with acceptable references preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
