About the role:

You will be joining the Commercial Area South Product Line Team, based in Milan. You will report to the Commercial Area South Europe Category Director & support the Commercial Area South Europe Category Manager in the day-by-day operation concerning product line activities: the ranging, product launches, pricing, driving initiatives to grow fast the related product categories and reach KPIs.

Location: The role is based in Assago.

What you’ll do:

  1. Continuous monitoring of market trends, competition and price positioning (Gfk, Promostat, sell in/out, consumer research etc), delivering reports and analysis.
  2. All activities related to Product lifecycle management: new launches, system maintenance, phase in/out process, range maintenance, sales forecasting, avoid obsolescence…
  3. Provide input and feedback for new product development during the Generation Plan Process.
  4. Close and daily co-operation with European Product Managers to manage product life cycle maintenance activities.
  5. Monitor sales performance and suggest actions to deliver business KPIs.
  6. Close collaboration with Brand and Trade Marketing organization in preparing product presentations, catalogues, folder, POS material to support product launches.
  7. Support Product Trainers.
  8. Provide Sales Organization with continuously updated detailed product info, market launch and pricing.
  9. Cooperate with the Sales team in order to set up listings & promos presence according to objectives, for key customers.

Who you are:

  1. Approximately 1-2 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  2. Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  3. Strong analytical and presentation skills (PowerPoint and Excel are a must).
  4. Able to work under pressure in complex organizations with various stakeholders both at national and international level.
  5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  6. Team player with good team working skills.
