Grow What Matters
We are hiring for a Category Marketing Manager: Forage & Inoculants to join our team.
Main tasks :
- Understand market needs and define product concept guidelines.
- Manage the Inoculants portfolio.
- Understand product characteristics and performance across different environments, crops, and forage qualities.
- Train sales force, distributors, customers, and stakeholders on forage quality and animal nutrition through sessions and direct visits to farmers.
- Develop and oversee innovative projects with internal teams or external partners focused on forage quality, nutritional efficiency, digital breeding, and livestock sustainability.
- Manage lab data for reports and presentations on nutrition topics.
- Provide marketing and technical advice, including training, presentations, and public speeches, to sales teams and other audiences.
- Offer technical support in product development and problem resolution in animal nutrition.
- Analyze and interpret data, sharing results with Sales & Marketing teams.
- Collaborate on commercial campaigns with Marketing and Sales Managers.
- Serve as the local contact for the EU Category Product Manager.
Location : Cremona, Italy
Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Agronomy or Animal Production Sciences.
- Experience in agriculture or academia with results reporting.
- Knowledge in animal nutrition, diets, forage quality, and livestock management; statistical data evaluation skills.
- Ability to synthesize technical information clearly.
- Proficiency in PC skills and digital tools, with a willingness to learn new software.
- Strong communication, coaching, and training skills.
- Teamwork and networking abilities with external stakeholders.
- Good command of English (speaking and writing).
- Willingness to travel extensively across Italy.
