Zentiva Pharma is seeking a Category Manager – IT to design and execute global sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and services within a regulated pharma setting.

You will lead SRM, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Digital, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to deliver measurable cost savings and data integrity. Fluent English is required, with additional languages a plus.

As Category Manager - IT, you will design and execute global sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and services to drive cost efficiency, compliance, and digital transformation. You will partner with IT, Digital, Finance, and Business teams to manage supplier relationships, governance, and budget/LRP activities in a regulated pharma environment. The role focuses on aligning IT sourcing with roadmaps, cybersecurity, and data integrity, while enabling scalable, secure IT performance. You will influence major technology programs and supplier ecosystems to deliver measurable value.

• Define and execute global IT category strategies (hardware, software, cloud, services)
• Align sourcing with IT/digital roadmaps, cybersecurity, and cost optimisation
• Drive value through licence/application rationalisation and vendor consolidation
• Lead SRM with key IT suppliers and implement governance models
• Monitor supplier performance via KPIs and regular reviews
• Mitigate supplier risk with dual sourcing, exit planning, and business continuity
• Collaborate with Procurement CoE, IT&D, Cybersecurity, Finance, Legal, and Compliance
• Support ERP, cloud transformations, infra upgrades and digital initiatives
• Assist in IT budgeting and Long Range Planning (LRP) and track savings
• Integrate ESG criteria into supplier selection and performance management
• Ensure procurement policy compliance, documentation, and risk management
• 8-12 years in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, preferably in IT/Digital within pharma or FMCG
• Strong expertise in IT category strategy, supplier relationship management, and complex negotiations
• Solid understanding of IT cost structures, software licensing, cloud economics, and service delivery frameworks
• Proven experience managing global suppliers and delivering complex procurement projects
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and project leadership
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
