Una leading company nel settore energetico cerca un Category Analyst per supportare il Group Category Manager nella valutazione del mercato delle forniture globali. Il candidato sarà coinvolto nell'analisi del mercato delle attrezzature statiche, interfacciandosi con diverse organizzazioni e supportando la definizione delle strategie di approvvigionamento.

The selected candidate will support the Group Category Manager in the analysis of the global supply market, supporting the definition of the related sourcing strategies. The company is looking for a Category Analyst to be assigned to the discipline of static equipment.

The actions defined and taken will be linked to KPI's and results evaluation. In doing that the candidate should takes into consideration and integrates the needs coming from the sales plan and from the projects under execution across the Companies of the Group. The dynamics of the supply markets in the different regions and the peculiarities / constraints of the projects shall be considered.

Key Activities & Responsibilities :

• To analyze the global supply market for the a.M. discipline;
• To analyze the regional supply market interfacing with the regional organizations;
• To analyze the perspective procurement plan coming from the perspective sales plan;
• Based upon the sales plan and the projects under execution, to evaluate opportunities both in the global and regional markets, considering the projects related constraints;
• To interface with regional organizations, purchasing departments of the operating companies, sales, and project teams in order to follow up the ongoing activities and support the Group Category Manager in his / her operating routine;
• To interface the Group Should Cost Team to determine market trends and providing data for analysis;
• To support the Group Category Manager for the results consolidation, feedback and lessons learnt.

Knowledge, Qualifications and experience

• University degree in engineering (or other similar scientific subjects);

• Sharp communication skill in interacting with internal and external stakeholders;
• Attitude in organizing and analyzing information to identify opportunities;
• Attentionto details and correct execution of outputs / reports;
• Proficiency of IT Tools for data gathering / analysis;
