Job Description

As a cashier, you will process all POS transactions accurately and efficiently, collect and update client details according to company policies, and provide outstanding luxury customer service. You will ensure accurate reconciliation of daily cash and card takings with the Retail Information System (RIS) and carry out cash banking processes.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Processing client cash and credit card payments following company guidelines.
• Performing all transactions in the RIS, including sales, refunds, returns, Made-to-Measure deposits, balance payments, and gift cards, ensuring accurate records.
• Handling tax refunds and cash desk closing procedures, ensuring reconciliation of RIS with cash/card takings.
• Providing sales reports to management and relevant departments.
• Updating customer information in the RIS database.
• Managing inter-company and B2B sales transactions, issuing invoices with correct taxable values.
• Advising on CITES inquiries and processing CITES sales with proper documentation.
• Performing card-not-present sales adhering to guidelines.
• Controlling and reconciling petty cash float.
• Monitoring stock for cash desk supplies and placing replenishment orders.
• Ensuring PDQ terminals are operational and requesting assistance when needed.
• Performing daily cash banking and supporting dispute resolution for card transactions.
• Managing transactions in foreign currency with accurate exchange gain/loss reconciliation.
