A global manufacturing leader is seeking a skilled designer for surface modeling in Rimini. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, strong proficiency in ICEM SURF or Alias, and a degree in a relevant field. Responsibilities include forward modeling and collaboration with design teams. This role offers an opportunity to work on full-vehicle development projects and refine innovative designs.

Competenze

• Preferred degree in Industrial Design, Art Design, Mechanical Design, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of CAS/Class-A surface modeling experience.
• Proficiency in ICEM SURF or Alias software.

Work Location: Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform forward modeling of styling based on orthographic views and renderings.
2. Develop reverse models from scanned point clouds and complete DTS (Dimension Technical Specification).
3. Modify data according to engineering or styling inputs to meet technical requirements.
4. Collaborate with styling designers to optimize CAS (Computer-Aided Styling) and Class-A surface models.
5. Refine and optimize existing model data.
6. Prepare VRED rendering data and perform preliminary rendering.

Qualifications:

1. Preferred degree in Industrial Design, Art Design, Mechanical Design, or related fields.
2. Minimum 5 years of CAS/Class-A surface modeling experience with multiple full-vehicle development projects.
3. Proficiency in ICEM SURF or Alias software.
4. Strong understanding of forward and reverse modeling methodologies.
5. Ability to model complex shapes (forward/reverse) with knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
6. Experience with VRED rendering, CATIA, or UG/NX is a plus.
