An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Cargo team as a Cargo Sales Support Officer.

Role Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit a Cargo Sales Support Officer to strengthen our Cargo team, to execute the commercial strategies for the port in order to surpass revenue targets and commercial Key Performance Indicators by providing excellent customer service and solutions.

This is a full-time position offered on an 18-month temporary contract.

Applicants must be legally entitled to live and work in Italy and demonstrate a strong proficiency in both English and Italian.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Revenue Generation
  2. Help to implement the Cargo Business Plan in alignment with local cargo strategies and specified Key Performance Indicators
  3. Assist the Cargo Manager(s) and coordinate with the Cargo Sales Officers to achieve revenue targets and generate ancillary revenue by actively supporting customer needs
  4. Provide support to manage capacity to maximize flight revenue and customer satisfaction
  5. Coordinate with the outdoor sales team to provide customer-centric solutions
  6. Answer customers’ inquiries and handle offline booking and e-booking requests promptly and professionally
  7. Manage daily relationships with stakeholders across all sales channels to support revenue generation
  8. Deliver excellent sales and customer service at all commercial touchpoints to drive premium rates and regular business
  9. Promote Cathay products and provide consistent, high-quality product solutions to customers
  10. Efficiency Improvement

Support the Cargo Manager(s) in implementing e-initiatives to increase e-Bookings and other Self-Service functions.

Perform any other reasonable tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications: High school graduation
  • Knowledge, Skills, Training, and Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ cargo or airline operations or indoor sales experience; prior customer service experience is an advantage; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently; proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CHAMP Cargospot System is a plus.
