Within our Piping Department in the Italy office we are looking for a Piping Material Engineer who will have the following responsibilities:

1. Development of Piping specs based on Piping codes (ISO, EN, ASME) and/or Client standards;
2. Support the Piping Design team during project execution;
3. Material selection (ASTM and/or EN materials, piping components, valve type, piping insulation);
4. Lead and/or attend internal and external technical coordination meetings.

Here's what you'll need

1. Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or equivalent degree.
2. Willingness to learn and enhance your knowledge of international industrial norms, design standards, European Directives (PED, ATEX, Machinery), with a proactive approach for continuous improvement.
3. Organizational skills to manage multiple activities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members and clients, internal and external.
5. Ability of thinking out of the box to add value and generate optimization ideas.
6. Design capacities based on sustainability and environmental requirements.
7. Good presentation skills and troubleshooting approach guided by logical reasoning.
8. Ability to effectively manage priorities while working on multiple tasks and projects.
