Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an outstanding academic BC/BE Cardiovascular Surgeon to join the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery within the Department of Surgery in Temple, TX. The Central Texas region is the fastest-growing area in the country, attracting notable industries such as Meta, Apple, and Samsung. The Cardiovascular Surgery program, under new leadership, is experiencing steady growth, including a robust and expanding Advanced Surgical Heart Failure Program. Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery and contribute to the growth of disease-based programs in partnership with Cardiology and Vascular Surgery divisions.
• Interest in aortic and/or advanced heart failure surgery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and mentoring.
• 5 years of experience preferred.

Academic appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor through Baylor College of Medicine will be based on experience and qualifications. The division supports research activities, including its own biostatistician, and encourages development of individual research interests alongside clinical practice.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
