Sirio in Treviso, Italy, seeks a Captain to lead flight operations for a Challenger 605 managed aircraft. The candidate will provide exceptional passenger service, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate between passengers and the Sirio team.

The role requires extensive EASA qualifications, hours, and a strong command of English and Italian. The Captain will train on the fleet and may travel to destinations while based at Treviso Airport.

As a Captain at Sirio, you are the embodiment of our commitment to providing not only technically accurate and safe transportation but also delivering a world-class service experience for all passengers. In this role, you will seamlessly wear multiple hats, transitioning from a professional aviator to an in-flight service provider, ensuring a concierge service level experience. The successful candidate must be willing to be based in Treviso, Italy.

You will be dedicated support for a Challenger 605 for a managed aircraft flying the client and charter operations.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient execution of assigned flight schedules, adhering to all regulatory and manufacturer's guidelines.


• Personally welcome and engage with passengers pre-flight, providing detailed briefings on the trip, confirming itineraries, offering weather updates, and explaining any changes.


• Serve as a dedicated liaison between passengers and Sirio throughout the entire journey, from arrival at the FBO to safe departure from the final destination FBO.


• Deliver impeccable in-flight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol, catering service, and meticulous loading and stowing of all baggage.


• Uphold the cabin's integrity by performing thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking procedures before each trip.


• Flexibly undertake additional responsibilities as assigned based on specific assignments.

• Working knowledge of applicable EASA regulations and commitment to maintaining full regulatory compliance.


• Ability to effectively manage multiple operational, passenger service, and administrative responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

• Valid EASA ATPL


• Enrolled in the Italian official register of pilots (\"Albi/Registro del personale di volo\") as Commander


• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Flight Time


• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Pilot Instrument Time


• Valid ME-IR (A) on EASA Licence


• MCC Certificate or MP Rating on EASA Licence


• Hold an Advanced UPRT qualification, or have completed within the preceding three years the training and checking in accordance with points ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III (Part-ORO) to Regulation (EU) No 965/2012


• Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate


• Valid EU Passport


• English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher


• Professional proficiency in Italian


• Legal right to work in Europe and ability to travel freely to all destinations served by Sirio


• Ability to work weekends, holidays, nights, shifts, and overnight assignments


• Ability to successfully complete Initial Training, including a Type Rating on the assigned fleet


• Successful completion of required background screening

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

• Bachelor's Degree


• Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport operations


• Previous experience in Corporate Aviation operations

Physical Requirements

In addition to the requirements required to hold a Class 1 Medical certificate, the Pilot must be able to complete the day-to-day tasks associated with the operation of an airplane. This includes but is not limited to; loading and unloading of bags, accomplish a thorough pre-flight and post flight, and assist with snow and ice removal during inclement weather, installation and the removal of engine covers and the daily cleaning of aircraft as required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 23kg.
