Job Description:

Position: Capo Reparto Officina Meccanica

Randstad Technical Talent Selection specializes in the search and selection of qualified professionals in mechanical, engineering, and production fields.

Our client is a well-established leader in the Oil & Gas sector, involved in designing and manufacturing valves, fittings, and equipment for the oil and gas industry.

Recognized internationally for their product quality and interventions, they are continuously evolving and growing.

We are seeking a Capo Reparto Officina Meccanica.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the department activities, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, and quality standards.
• Manage and motivate the operational team (8 workers including milling machine operators and turners).
• Collaborate with Technical Office and Quality for continuous process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Monitor efficiency and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex mechanical contexts (valves, oil & gas equipment, industrial plants).
• Experience in machining medium/large parts.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal turning and 5-axis milling.
• At least 5 years of experience managing workshop personnel.
• Excellent knowledge of technical drawing and measurement tools.
• Leadership, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems and quality procedures.
