Sodexo MAGIC Universities Segment has an exciting opening for a Campus Dietitian at Southern University in Lafayette, LA, as well as in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, LA. The Campus Registered Dietitian is responsible for nutrition education and promoting nutritional programs through events, presentations, social media, and other outreach efforts, respecting the diverse needs of the populations served. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on event demands and during peak times.

Minimum Education: Master's degree with required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
For those eligible for the registration exam before 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with required coursework and supervised practice as per ACEND.
Credentials: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states or facilities, RD/RDN credentials are required at hire. Certification or licensure as required by state(s) of practice may also be necessary.
Minimum Experience: 2 years of work experience in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics, plus registered dietitian status.
