THE ROLE

We are looking for skilled and passionate individuals who excel in craftsmanship, mechanics, and hands-on problem-solving to join our team as a Campervan Technician in our depot.

This role is critical to ensuring our fleet of campervans is maintained at the highest standards, enabling our customers to embark on unforgettable journeys.

As a Campervan Technician, you will be part of our Rome team and work with the Central Europe Regional Team. Your primary responsibility is to maintain our campervans in optimal condition at all times, contributing to efficient operations and customer satisfaction. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Reporting directly to the local leader, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conduct systematic inspections of vehicles and diagnose problems in mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including:
• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Light bodywork repairs involving spare parts replacement (lightbulbs, windows, side mirrors)
• Campervan spare parts substitution and repairs
• Troubleshooting and repairing campervan appliances
• Maintain and develop relationships with external partners.
• Coordinate vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams.
• Keep all vehicle information systems updated according to established procedures.
• Move campervans to and from local vendors, parking facilities, or other depots.
• Maintain depot equipment and spare parts, ensuring organization and cleanliness.
• Keep spare parts inventory systems updated at all times.

As part of the local team, you will also participate in daily depot operations, including:

• Preparing vehicles and equipment for customers.
• Assisting with incoming reservations, welcoming guests, and managing check-ins and check-outs.
• Receiving and organizing shipments and supplies, recording item consumption and new orders.
• Maintaining depot equipment, extras, and consumables.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or a similar automotive program.
• At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical repairs; campervan experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in English and Italian, with good communication skills.
