AVL Italia S.p.A. is seeking a Calibration Engineer to support calibration and optimization of control units for vehicle systems, with a focus on ICE powertrain performance. You will contribute to planning, execution, and evaluation across test tracks, benches, and software-in-the-loop environments.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or similar.
• Initial experience in the application and validation of control unit functions.
• Knowledge of internal combustion engine fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of different vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E) with ICE focus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to travel.
• English knowledge (good to advanced).

Mansioni

• Support calibration of control unit functions in various vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E, etc.)
• Assist in the calibration and optimization of ICE-related parameters
• Support planning, execution, and evaluation of calibration functions in different environments
• Support documenting calibration parameters and measurement results
• Support presenting results to the customer
• Support developing innovative methods and tools for calibration tasks
• Support the project manager and logistics in planning calibration activities
• Participation in tests and customer appointments
