For major clients in the Automotive sector, we are seeking a CAD Wiring Harness Specialist with experience in the automotive industry.

CAD DESIGN FOR WIRING HARNESS DEVELOPMENT

The main tasks and responsibilities in wiring harness development typically include:

• Proficiency in using CAD systems for wiring design, utilizing specific tools.
• Studying layout and packaging for electrical wiring.
• Designing fastening systems for wiring installation (clips, channels, cable guides, gaskets, etc.).
• Developing routing and installation of cables on vehicles and engines using CAD CATIA with the Wiring application.
• Creating 3D models and 2D layouts; knowledge of applications useful for 2D electrical diagram drawing is desirable.
• Analyzing geometric and installation issues of components such as cables, and studying suitable solutions while considering the assembly process during vehicle manufacturing.
• Experience in design and processes related to wiring development.
• Gathering platform information (Program Planning, Trim level grid, Cost and weight targets).
• Collaborating closely with the Engineering Specialist Project Chief to schedule activities.
• Determining optimal solutions considering cost and quality in line with product manufacturing requirements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and related integration issues.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• CAD skills in Wiring Harness activities within 2D/3D environments (CATIA, PRO_E, Capital Harness, etc.).

SOFT SKILLS :

• Ability to work in a team and organize complex tasks.
• Attention to technical details.
• Ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Basic German is appreciated but not mandatory.

EDUCATION :

Technical or professional diploma in electrical, electrotechnical, IT, or mechanical fields.
