CAD Expert - Mechanical Designer (m / f / d)

Responsibilities

What You\'ll Do

As a key member of international project teams, the Mechanical Designer Expert serves as the primary reference for 2D / 3D CAD / CAM methodologies. You will work on complex assemblies and components, define CAD standards, and oversee models developed by junior engineers. Your role combines technical excellence with mentorship, ensuring high-quality design output and continuous improvement across the team. Your core responsibilities will include :

  • Designing innovative technical solutions for mechanical elevator components.
  • Creating precise 3D models and technical drawings using CREO.
  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD methodologies to ensure efficient and consistent design practices across projects.
  • Define and optimize the CAD–CAM dataflow, enabling seamless integration between design and manufacturing processes.
  • Stay up to date with CAD software advancements, continuously refining internal strategies and tools to align with industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex 3D models used in CAD–CAM production, ensuring high-quality outputs and resolving technical issues that may impact manufacturing.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, including troubleshooting and onboarding support.
Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in PTC Creo and Windchill (min. 4 years).
  • Solid experience in Sheet Metal Design (min. 2 years).
  • Strong command of 3D Methodology (min. 4 years).
  • Educational background as a Designer or equivalent.
  • Customer-centric and market-aware.
  • Team-oriented with leadership potential.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven.
  • Committed to continuous improvement.
  • English advanced.
  • Italian and German are a plus.
