A leading industrial company in Modena is seeking a qualified individual to support project leadership in defining technical solutions for tractor designs. Responsibilities include managing engineering bills of materials, overseeing component layout, and providing guidance on packaging activities. Ideal candidates should hold a Mechanical Engineering degree and possess 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, along with proficiency in English and Italian.

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle/mechanical design.
• Experience designing agricultural or construction equipment is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

COMPANY PROFILE :

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

Supports the Chief Engineer / Project Leader in defining the concept and technical solutions and ensures the correct interfaces between the various groups and components. Leads the group / BOM definition and the packaging activities.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

In order to achieve the Cab Architect for Small / Medium Tractor function, the main responsibilities of the position include :

• Industrial Product Offering - Manages the content of Engineering Bill Of Materials and Variants
• Component layout - Drives the layout of the components together with the shared technologies experts and the Area Architects
• Technical Guide - High weight in technical choice (in support to Chief Engineer and Project Leader)
• Area Architect Guidance - Supervises the Area Architect activities (technical solutions)
• Packaging - Manages the packaging activities (on new programs and current products)
• Virtual PIR management - Owner of the process
• Engineering Services management - Main interface of Product Engineering versus Engineering Services

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Mechanical Engineering degree or technical background desired
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle / mechanical design
• Advanced knowledge of English and Italian (written and spoken)
• Technical skills : basics of Tractor systems; advanced in technical drawings, mechanical, building science and materials, manufacturing technologies (fabrications, plastics, glasses, etc.)
• Advanced CAD 3D user (TeamCenter, VisMockup and Creo preferred)
• Microsoft packages : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Prior experience in design of agricultural or construction equipment is preferred

OTHER INFORMATION :

• Full clean Driving Licence
• Ability to travel around the territory and availability to occasional travels with some over-night stays
• Languages : fluent in English and Italian
• An independent thinking is required. Able to work under mínimal supervision and to manage multiple projects
