We are looking for a

Commodity Buyer

to join our Team based in Forlì.

Mission

Implements the commodity strategy in all the regions to support BU targets in terms of competitiveness, time to market, new project development and Supply Base growth and rationalization.

Main responsibilities

Coordinates a specific commodity of direct materials, defines the general management and sourcing strategies for her / his specific commodity;

Manages the assigned Commodity gaining deep understanding of the supply market;

Responsible for the negotiation process with Global / Strategic suppliers;

Drives the Global sourcing activities managing and developing the relationships with global suppliers;

Responsible for the Supply base optimization in terms of quality, efficiency and technology state of the art;

Negotiate contracts and Supply agreements.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or in Economics;

Strong leadership and effective communication skills;

Negotiation skills;

Fluent in English;

Fluent in German (B1 level is requirred).

Location : Forlì (FC).
