THE POSITION

For our office in Milan and our production sites in Fornovo San Giovanni and Noventa Padovana, we are currently looking for a Senior Operational Sourcing Specialist to join us, based in Milan.

The Buyer Specialist will work within the Purchasing department, reporting to the Common & Indirect Sourcing Area Head. He/she will be responsible for sourcing goods and services for the company, ensuring the best value in terms of quality and price.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Sourcing and contracting services such as Creative Agencies, Medical Education, Publication Planning, Media, Public Relations
• Scouting and evaluating suppliers
• Negotiating purchase terms
• Implementing global sourcing strategies
• Building relationships with business partners
• Data analysis and baseline consolidation
• Complying with department procedures and achieving department goals
• Maintaining complete and updated purchasing records
• Ensuring services meet technical requirements and business needs

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum three years of procurement or sourcing experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Good knowledge of English
• Knowledge of SAP and Ariba / WeBuy is a plus
