A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Buyer to join their Indirect Procurement Team in Italy. The role involves defining sourcing strategies, executing projects, and establishing vendor relationships to generate significant value for the company. Candidates should have extensive experience in indirect procurement, particularly within FMCG, and possess strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional experience in indirect procurement, specifically in Production & Capex.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Experience leading sourcing projects across various categories.

We are looking for a BUYER to support the Indirect Procurement Team in Lindt Italy by defining and executing sourcing strategies across Production & Capex spend.

Main responsibilities :

1. Define and implement local sourcing strategies across Production & Capex and develop a roadmap of value delivery initiatives aimed at generating significant value for the company.
2. Execute sourcing projects and other value delivery initiatives, supported by the Indirect Procurement Manager and in close collaboration with the Operations function.
3. Support the local implementation of Group Procurement initiatives (e.g., local project management, stakeholder management, information gathering).
4. Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Design and negotiate agreements in collaboration with Legal, establishing best-in-class commercial models.
6. Monitor compliance with contractually agreed commercials and performance KPIs, in collaboration with the Operations function.
7. Own and develop relationships with key local vendors.

Job Requirements :

1. 5+ years of professional experience in indirect procurement, specifically related to Production & Capex, preferably within FMCG or the food industry.
2. Experience in leading sourcing projects across most of the categories in scope.
3. Advanced negotiation skills, with experience in defining and negotiating different commercial models within the categories in scope.
4. Experience with e-sourcing tools is advantageous.
5. Fluent in Italian and English.
6. Strong analytical skills.
7. Entrepreneurial mindset.
8. Excellent social and communication skills.
