CAREL is looking for a skilled purchasing professional located in Brugine, Italy to report directly to the Group Purchasing Manager. The successful candidate will negotiate purchasing agreements and oversee strategies for assigned categories while collaborating globally for optimal supply conditions.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong negotiation abilities, excellent communication skills, and a good command of English. Passion for the Carel Culture Code is also a prerequisite.

Posizione

This position directly reports to the Group Purchasing Manager.

Dealing With The Assigned Categories

• Negotiates purchasing agreements with suppliers (prices, delivery terms, terms&conditions)
• Defines supply shares and relevant supply strategies
• Plays the role of Category Manager for the assigned categories defining tactics and strategy
• Proposes different ideas geared to product & management cost reduction
• Collaborates with the Plants worldwide to share best supply conditions in order to achieve cost reduction
• Monitors the performance of the suppliers in term of delivery, quality and implement improvement plan
• Searches for alternative products and/or suppliers
• Qualifies new suppliers in accordance with internal processVisits and audits suppliers with supplier quality team
• Coordinates the yearly projects assigned
• Manages the prices discrepancy between order and invoice

Requisiti

• English is a must
• Strong negotiation skills and analytical method
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Electronic background is a plus
