The ideal applicant is fluent in English and Italian, has over 3 years of buying experience with a Divisional or Global retailer, and possesses strong analytical and communication skills. This role emphasizes building relationships and monitoring market trends to drive business decisions.

Main responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager to execute compelling merchandising strategies for a specific portfolio within the category.
• Select new suppliers and negotiate with them
• Plan pop-ups, events and in-store activations
• Work closely with external brand partners and internal colleagues to curate product assortments tailored to our diverse clientele and to ensure achievement of category metrics
• Build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
• Monitor and compile sales, analyze and report market trends, identify and gather customer preferences to make data-driven decisions for the needs of the business
• Collaborate and communicate with cross functional partners to ensure seamless execution and accurate product, brand, and DFS representation across brand counters, animations, campaigns, and category marketing opportunities
• Embrace mentorship opportunities to foster a collaborative and innovative team and category environment
• Support ad-hoc and category improvement projects

KEY REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s Degree

Fluency in English and Italian, French as a plus.

3+ buying experience with a Divisional or Global retailer.

Analytical skills

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Goal oriented approach, multitasking

Good problem-solving skills.

Function as a resourceful and proactive team member.

Able to work under deadlines.
