Job Description

Reporting to the Purchasing Coordinator, the resource will be responsible for the strategic management of assigned product categories, ensuring competitiveness, efficiency and quality.

1. Managing the supplier portfolio and sourcing for the assigned product area;
2. Actively participate in product development in collaboration with various functional teams, ensuring the procurement of materials at the best price, quality standards and within the required delivery times;
3. Issue purchase orders and work orders via the management system and follow up on material delivery and complaints;
4. Monitor purchasing KPIs (savings, speed, quality);
5. Establish and maintain strong relationships both internally with various departments and externally with suppliers.

Experience And Skills

1. Diploma or degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or electronic;
2. Good knowledge of English (B2 level);
3. Previous experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector;
4. Strong negotiation skills;
5. Hands-on approach;
6. Purchasing process, preferably in the manufacturing/industrial sector, automotive or machinery assembly;
7. Elements of purchasing planning;
8. Product sourcing techniques;
9. Elements of international contract law;
10. Terms and conditions of supply in the relevant sector;
11. Elements of internal and external logistics management;
12. Inventory management criteria;
13. Reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
