Are you eager to take a new opportunity? Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment to build your professional career? We are looking for a Buyer to join our Headquarter at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO).

You will report to the Commodity Manager in Procurement Area and be responsible for the complete management of material group within one of the Commodities areas: Exteriors commodity, Interiors commodity, Electrical/electronic commodity, Powertrain commodity, General Procurement.

As a member of the Procurement Dept. in the assigned commodities, you will be a fundamental key contributor for the achievement of the company objectives. Our Procurement Dept. mission is to support the company in delivering cutting-edge technical solutions on-time with perfect quality at the right cost, so that as a company we can always exceed the expectations of our customers. The candidate will be actively involved in organizing supply chains for our supplier relationships through the international networks within Lamborghini and the Audi-VW Group and will work extensively on ongoing and new vehicle projects in a strongly team-oriented environment.

Your responsibilities will focus on:

• Leading price negotiations and mediating award decisions through a worldwide Bidder’s List
• Identifying & leading cost-saving ideas including supplier visits at the plant
• Scouting for new suppliers and innovation with a deep focus on economics and business sustainability
• Analyzing new market trends and deriving acquisition strategies.
• Being an active player in the VW Group Commodity Meeting aligning the purchasing strategy with the other VW Brands (Porsche, BY, Audi)
• Early involvement in the project to define the best technology to match project needs & targets
• Working with the latest e-procurement solutions
• Active member of cross-functional teams

About you

• University degree in Engineering
• 4/5 years of experience in Procurement
• Background in the automotive sector is considered a plus
• Fluent in English and Italian; German will be considered a plus
• Good negotiation skills
• Able to manage complex supply chains
• Target-oriented
• Analytical skills
