Job Title: Buyer

During Spa, an employment agency with branches nationwide, is seeking a Buyer for a metalworking company located in Spino d'Adda (CR).

Responsibilities:

1. Process purchase requests, researching and evaluating local, national, and international suppliers from a technical and commercial perspective, ensuring quality control;
2. Conduct technical/economic analyses of materials/components to be purchased;
3. Coordinate with internal departments such as technical office, production, and warehouse to identify company needs;
4. Negotiate with suppliers during order processing, manage follow-ups, and handle non-conformities;
5. Participate in scouting and qualification activities for suppliers at national and international levels, respecting technical specifications, costs, and quality standards;
6. Monitor price trends of components from relevant suppliers;
7. Contribute to the optimization of purchasing processes through continuous improvement actions;
8. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in similar roles;
• Good knowledge of purchasing in the metalworking sector;
• Experience in supplier evaluation and selection methodologies;
• Experience in negotiations, including discussing general purchasing conditions;
• Excellent command of the English language;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
