Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Buyer role located in Bressanone (BZ). As an employee in the purchasing department, you are responsible for procuring various materials, with a focus on catalog items and technical specifications. In this role, you play a crucial part in optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring the company is supplied with the necessary resources.

Your tasks

  • Researching new suppliers, requesting quotations, and conducting negotiations as a basis for order placement
  • Creating purchase orders, tracking delivery dates (expediting), managing order confirmations, and supporting other departments in case of discrepancies between orders, goods received, and invoices
  • Monitoring supplier quality in cooperation with other departments, handling complaints, and deviations from supplier requirements
  • Actively participating in the regular evaluation of supplier performance based on KPIs such as punctuality and quality
  • Close collaboration with project management, production, warehouse and logistic teams to ensure optimal coordination of procurement processes

Your profile

  • Qualification in a technical or economic field
  • Experience in a similar position and familiarity with supplier management are an advantage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to details, result orientation, and ability to work in a team
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian
  • Proficient in using MS Office programs
