General Medical Merate S.p.A. is seeking a Buyer to manage strategic procurement for assigned product categories within a leading medical radiology company.

Reporting to the Purchasing Coordinator, you will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds an Electronic Engineering diploma or degree, speaks English at B2 level, and brings hands-on purchasing experience in manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Manage the supplier portfolio and sourcing for the assigned product area.
• Actively participate in product development in collaboration with various functional teams, ensuring the procurement of materials at the best price, quality standards and within the required delivery times.
• Issue purchase orders and work orders via the management system and follow up on material delivery and complaints.
• Monitor purchasing KPIs (savings, speed, quality).
• Establish and maintain strong relationships both internally with various departments and externally with suppliers.

Position – Role required

GMM, General Medical Merate, in the perspective of an evolution that it is undertaking, is looking for an employee for Buyer.

Reporting to the Purchasing Coordinator, the resource will be responsible for the strategic management of assigned product categories, ensuring competitiveness, efficiency and quality.

• Managing the supplier portfolio and sourcing for the assigned product area;

Experience and Skills

• Diploma or degree in Electronic Engineering;
• Good knowledge of English (B2 level);
• Previous experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector;
• Hands-on approach;
• Purchasing process, preferably in the manufacturing/industrial sector, automotive or machinery assembly;
• Elements of purchasing planning;
• Product sourcing techniques;
• Elements of international contract law;
• Terms and conditions of supply in the relevant sector;
• Elements of internal and external logistics management;
• Inventory management criteria;
• Reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
