Job Description

The person in the role will have full P&L responsibility for the assigned BU, and will be directly responsible for the BU strategy, the product and application portfolio development, and all related business initiatives. In a modern matrix organisation, the VP BU orchestrates and supports all activities around Sales, Product Management, Operations, Purchasing, R&D, and the financial aspects of the business. Success depends on securing smooth and effective operations in close cooperation with global functional leaders.

  • Drive business growth of the assigned BU in a highly dynamic market, managing the full global P&L responsibility for the related business.
  • Develop and implement market-driven cross-functional strategies.
  • Continue performance and productivity improvements for the BU, including frequent analysis of accounting and financial data.
  • Generate reports and presentations for customers, partners, the Board, and Group Management.
  • Support business integration with the Group, making the local business ready to support other units.
  • Develop growth opportunities with sales, business development, and product management, especially in renewable energy and environmental applications.
  • Foster collaboration between global functions and all BU locations.
  • Identify and support M&A transactions and the integration of M&A targets.
