About The Role

We are seeking a Business Unit Associate Director to lead our National Accounts Business Unit within the Local Facilities Management (Local FM) sector. The Associate Director will report to the Country Executive Director and will be responsible for providing leadership, management, and development of a defined portfolio. The role involves ensuring financial and operational targets are met and exceeded, fostering innovation, talent development, growth, and service excellence.

Location: Milan - Lombardia - Italy

What You’ll Do

  1. Full responsibility for Profit & Loss, including developing financial plans for revenue and profit, reducing WIP and debt, cutting costs, and driving contract growth to meet and surpass targets.
  2. Identify and exploit opportunities for strategic portfolio development to increase turnover and profitability, add additional services and projects, and successfully re-win contracts upon re-tendering.
  3. Effectively communicate and implement business policies and processes within the contract.
  4. Ensure safe working conditions and the implementation of health and safety policies for both clients and company activities, with regular reviews.
  5. Optimize staffing structures to balance cost efficiency with service quality, supporting workload fluctuations and disaster recovery plans.
  6. Ensure all contract teams are fully competent, with effective succession planning in place.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business development, team cohesion, and colleague support.
  8. Maintain a customer-focused approach in all operational activities and foster strong relationships with key client contacts.
  9. Promote and uphold CBRE's RISE values: Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence.
  10. Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and support for best practice in team management, training, and recognition.
  11. Contribute to business communication through leadership, meetings, reports, and publications.
  12. Support the sales process through solution development, presentations, client visits, and mobilization of new contracts.
  13. Create a learning environment with appropriate training and development plans to ensure team competence and individual growth.
