Responsibilities:

• Working on a team focusing on various tax specialty areas including income taxes, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entity taxation, private client services, and not-for-profit organizations.
• Completing tax planning and research
• Preparing federal and state & local tax returns
• Understanding tax regulations and accounting pronouncements

Basic Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• Major in Accounting
• Willingness to travel to client locations; access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working toward CPA certification; opportunity to obtain audit hours for full certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Teamwork and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $61,600 - $73,500
