Job Description:

Intro

A Business System Engineer represents operations towards IT, and IT towards the operations, ensuring operational requirements are supported by UPS's IT systems while safeguarding that operational requirements follow global IT standards.

What you'll do

1. As a Business System Engineer Supervisor, you possess strong analytical and business process modelling skills, and you can propose, test, and implement Healthcare supply chain solutions in our Warehouse Management systems and Shipping Applications.

2. You will support the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of UPS's Next Generation global order- and warehouse-management system (project name Helix) and will be responsible for business modeling.

3. You will receive extensive training on these applications and on healthcare process compliance.

4. You will be part of a cross-functional team supporting the migration of existing UPS healthcare clients to the Helix platform.

5. We expect a high level of autonomy in your projects, working closely with clients, Tech Reps for other UPS applications, Industrial Engineering, IT, QA, Operations, and Project Management.

What you'll need

1. Education: Preferably a Bachelor in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related engineering;

2. Experience with requirements engineering, functional and user acceptance testing, and process modeling.

3. Experience: At least 1+ years in a role as an industrial engineer, analyst, or consultant in a supply chain management environment. Experience in Healthcare Logistics is a big plus.

4. Competencies: strong knowledge of operational methods and procedures in a supply chain management environment and knowledge of SCM systems (SAP, WMS, TMS). Ability to determine and review solutions and translate them into business requirement documents.

5. Strong communication and presentation skills. Willingness to travel.

6. Knowledge: excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Visio experience preferred. Excellent communication skills (English). SQL and MS Access knowledge preferred.
