Responsibilities
- Develop growth strategies (pricing and positioning) and support planning focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Support the development of new clinical trials with the current customer base.
- Collaborate with internal project managers on customer requests for both current and new clinical trials.
- Conduct research to identify new market and customer needs, analyze current market trends in coordination with the marketing department, to propose new business ideas that can improve profit margins.
- Organize business meetings related to clinical trial data management with stakeholders, current customers, and potential clients.
- Identify customer organizations, KOLs, and decision-makers.
- Promote the company’s products/services to meet or anticipate customer goals.
- Prepare estimates and quotations to set up bids and close contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., GCP).
- Maintain real-time records of sales, revenue, and invoices using our CRM system.
- Provide reliable feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Align with corporate values, and uphold the company’s image.
- Adhere to ethical conduct and confidentiality to protect the organization.
- Monitor customer satisfaction in collaboration with the marketing department.
- Support marketing with information, content, competitive analysis, customer profiles, and initiatives (e.g., conferences).
- Forecast sales targets and monitor progress.
- Provide market analysis and reports.
Requisiti
- Proven experience as a business development and sales manager in a clinical setting (preferably medical devices, biotech, pharmaceuticals).
- Documented sales success.
- Experience in customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of how products and services meet customer needs.
- Knowledge of the clinical research industry, including SOPs, processes, and trial requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
- IT literacy with a focus on software.
- Fluent Italian; upper intermediate English (B2); proficiency in French or Spanish is essential.
- Knowledge of market dynamics.
- Ability to coordinate with internal departments (Marketing, Clinical, Scientific, QA, IT).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- High self-confidence, motivation, and independence.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in research or clinical services.
- Willingness to travel and visit clients; autonomous in planning itineraries.
