SYNLAB AG has created a fully funded corporate start-up, named SYNLAB Health For You, with the aim to create a digital health care offering for the direct-to-consumer (D2C) market. For the setup of our teams, we are looking for digital-minded personalities who share the vision to create actionable health insights for our customers, leveraging the expertise of Europe’s leading laboratory diagnostics provider.

Role

For our early start-up phase, we are looking for a result-driven and hands-on individual who is keen to learn and grow in a corporate start-up environment. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of setting up the commercial operations of our digital D2C offering. This includes project management, including planning and oversight of the project from the build phase via MVP to a nationwide market launch. Your role is to ensure that all key deliverables are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You will work with management to plan and allocate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process. You will serve as the "Swiss army knife" for the overall project, ensuring timely, effective, and impactful delivery.

We are seeking an outgoing personality with solid communication skills and good self-discipline, capable of creating structure and thriving in a challenging environment.

This role can develop into a market lead position in the mid to long-term, for which we are currently searching as well.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders from inception through completion.
• Develop project schedules, coordinate status meetings, manage resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Align with domain owners across the business.
• Report project status regularly to stakeholders and ensure delivery within schedule and budget.
• Manage stakeholder communication and coordinate with the legacy business.
• Provide regular dashboards to management on rollout progress.
• Escalate feedback to the program lead and act as the single point of contact for the country project for internal clients and stakeholders.
• Be a local ambassador for SYNLAB Health for You and play a central role in team growth.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years in project management or a similar domain.
• Experience in strategy consulting, D2C business, start-up scaling, or market entry is beneficial.

Qualifications

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Structured working style in ambiguous environments.
• Experience in customer-facing D2C segment.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Mobility

• Willing to travel approximately 20-50%, mainly in Italy and for team offsites.
• Ideally located in the Greater Milano area or willing to relocate.
